It’s a hundreds years old building but clean and functional. Lots of shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants nearby. Really couldn’t ask for a better location.
One mattress is basically a futon-style mattress, not super comfortable- but adequate. The pillows probably should be upgraded, but these are trivial recommendations. Overall, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
Communicating with the host was easy and they were very helpful.

The host, Michalengelo, was terrific and very helpful. The apartment has two bedrooms (one room with a queen bed, the other with two twin beds. Separate living room can also sleep 1-2 on sofa. Three bathrooms, two with showers. Fourth floor (top floor) but the building has an elevator once you climb one flight of stairs from the street. My only minor concerns were that the water pressure was adequate, but not strong, and the wifi worked but was a little spotty sometimes.

Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment for a visit to Florence.
