Spacious and clean with plenty of hot water and great facilities with washing machine and dryer.
Would have been a nice touch to have had bottled water, a coffee pod or two and some shower gel to have when arriving. An extra towel or so would also have been helpful.

They had a pack n play crib for our use but we brought our own travel crib. It was a nice option to have though. Michelangelo was very communicative and gave us suggestions for restaurants and markets around town, which was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

It’s a hundreds years old building but clean and functional. Lots of shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants nearby. Really couldn’t ask for a better location.
One mattress is basically a futon-style mattress, not super comfortable- but adequate. The pillows probably should be upgraded, but these are trivial recommendations. Overall, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
Communicating with the host was easy and they were very helpful.

The Basilica of Santa Croce, the Casa Buonarroti (which was a highlight of our visit) are all in walking distance. Museums, restaurants, shops, and to top things off, We were serenaded every night with opera coming from the Square across our apartment. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and Michelangelo is a great host. If we were to return, this is where we would stay.

Michelangelo is a great host, received us on arrival, and we are glad to have chose his apartment.

I have never seen a host like him, and we were so impressed by the way he appreciated & valued his own property, as we had bad experience in Air B&B in Rome where the host didn’t even take a look & take care of the house.
You will really feel that this house is loved by the host and you will also be able to take a good care of his apartment as he does.
The location is just perfect, you can get anywhere by foot. For supermarket, I would recommend the Conad located across the Vecchico bridge.

  We expected the busyness during the day being right across from the leather market. The noise at night was another story. Busker use the market arches until 11-12pm. Every night... read more we woken up by loud yelling at 2-3am from people on the streets. The market starts set up at 6-7am. If you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you!

Kitchen has the basics but no wine bottle opener which seemed very odd for Italy.

Bedroom with bathroom has very comfortable bed while front bedroom has an old wore down futon like bed that is very hard and needs to be updated.
