  Excellent location on very busy street in heart of Florence. Easy to walk to major tourist sights, shops and restaurants. Kitchen not equipped for preparing full meals, adequate for breakfast and snacks.
The apartment was clean and comfortable. Instructions for entering apartment were texted to us the day of arrival and Michelangelo met us at apartment to orient us. (Hint for travelers from USA, bring shampoo, bath soap and washcloth.)

He met with us for check-in, explained a few details, recommended local places for us to try and... read more helped us to get a taxi at departure. The apartment is really close to all mayor sites. Even though the weather was over 100F it wasn’t too hard to walk. The market downstairs turns into a performance platform at night. The double pane windows definitely work. We hardly hear anything in the apartment but could enjoy it easily if we choose to. Hope we will have the opportunity to be back soon.

The apartment has reinforced... read more windows which allows the noise to be blocked at night and makes sleeping quite easy. The space itself is large and wonderful for a family of 4 to include 2 1/2 bathrooms. Also, having a washer and dryer when back packing and traveling is a HUGE asset.

The ONLY thing that surprised us (although I share this because we are still new to AirBNB) is that there were no supplies when entering the home. So we immediately had to purchase paper towels, and water, coffee, etc. We have stayed at a few other locations here in Italy that offered these little touches that made checking in after long travel quite simple. There were no cleaning supplies either (and I share that because typically I clean thoroughly when we leave a home). So just know you will need to head to the market (which is CLOSE) to get settled in after check in.

Now that you are equipped with knowledge...book this apartment! 🙂
