Except for a few steps to the elevator, it’s very easy to enter the apartment.
Because of the steps it is not wheelchair accessible but awesome place for the price to stay.
the Host was always reachable at all times and made great suggestions.
Never needed a taxi to go anywhere because everything is walking distance

  Wow, what an incredible apartment! The location absolutely can not be beat. Central and easy, with a great lift to the fourth floor. The space had high ceilings, gorgeous floors... read more and artwork, and windows with lovely views of the Florentine rooftops. It is right in the heart of everything and yes, there is street noise - but also music and just great sounds of the city. The windows, when closed are virtually soundproof! Practically, it was beyond expectations, with two huge bedrooms, great living and closet space, good lighting, a full size washer AND dryer, a nice kitchen (although we did not eat in) and very comfortable beds and linens. The bathrooms were great - master bath with two sinks and lots of space, plus a second bath with shower and yet a third half bath! So charming. Michelangelo met us and was helpful with our specific questions. I had noted previous reviews that mentioned there is no soap, shampoo etc for guests, which was fine with us and I believe part of the guidelines for hosts. But other apartments do provide these so please keep in mind if you are lucky enough to book. (There is a Pharmacie next door should you require any special items). The apartment was in a fabulous location , we could walk to all the sights and museums within a few mins. Michelangelo was very good at communicating with us, before and during our stay. we had a wonderful time in Florence and will return.

The 1/2 bathroom was a bonus. The place is a great location if you want to be downtown, with the majority of the main sites well within walking distance. The elevator was great for getting up to the 4th floor. While the downtown is busy, the bedrooms were quiet for sleeping.

  Excellent location on very busy street in heart of Florence. Easy to walk to major tourist sights, shops and restaurants. Nightly musical performances in market area across street... read more were delightful. Windows shut out the street sound very well. Kitchen not equipped for preparing full meals, adequate for breakfast and snacks.
The apartment was clean and comfortable. Instructions for entering apartment were texted to us the day of arrival and Michelangelo met us at apartment to orient us. (Hint for travelers from USA, bring shampoo, bath soap and washcloth.)
