We knew that and had brought our own. Michelangelo was very friendly and responsive and gave us great recommendations for food and drink. There is an outdoor leather market across the street and an opera singer was busking in front of it in the evenings, which just added more to the ambiance. I would happily stay here again and again!

As other reviews have mentioned, the location is absolutely fantastic. It is right across from a large leather market, and easy walking distance to Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery, and many fantastic restaurants & cafes. The apartment is quite spacious and had everything we needed. There was excellent room darkening at night for sleeping. The only reason I had to knock off 1 star was the bed in the second bedroom (the one without the bathroom attached). The bed isn't terribly uncomfortable, but was very noisy with just the slightest movement, which makes it difficult for 2 people to share without disturbing each other. However, we still had a very pleasant stay overall. 🙂
