There are a ton of excellent restaurants, bakeries, and a shopping market right outside. We could not have asked for a better host. He had excellent communication, let us check in a little early and gave us excellent recommendations. I would highly recommend this place if you are coming to Florence!

Even though the weather was over 100F it wasn’t too hard to walk. The market downstairs turns into a performance platform at night. The double pane windows definitely work. We hardly hear anything in the apartment but could enjoy it easily if we choose to. Hope we will have the opportunity to be back soon.

We knew that and had brought our own. Michelangelo was very friendly and responsive and gave us great recommendations for food and drink. There is an outdoor leather market across the street and an opera singer was busking in front of it in the evenings, which just added more to the ambiance. I would happily stay here again and again!

The elevator was great for getting up to the 4th floor. While the downtown is busy, the bedrooms were quiet for sleeping.

  Beautiful and spacious apartment in the centre of Florence - making it short, easy walk to the Duomo and all the tourist sights, even on the same road... read more as the Ponte Vecchio. Markets right outside as well as many shops and restaurants.
The apartment was impeccably clean and tidy - you can relax and feel right at home at an end of a busy day exploring the very beautiful city of Florence.
The host is friendly and understanding - meeting us upon arrival and allowed us to check in early.

  Perfect location to see everything in Florence. Spacious and spare with 2 1/2 bathrooms and a washer/dryer that were very useful. Michelangelo was very responsive to any... read more issues we had (lost hot water one morning and his gracious father and a workman showed up that afternoon to fix the problem.) The area is a bit noisy but the double paned windows and shutters block out most of the noise at night. Be aware that though there is a lift to the apartment, you will still need to walk up 20+ steps to get to it. We would definitely stay there again.
