It’s a hundreds years old building but clean and functional. Lots of shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants nearby. Really couldn’t ask for a better location.
One mattress is basically a futon-style mattress, not super comfortable- but adequate. The pillows probably should be upgraded, but these are trivial recommendations. Overall, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
Communicating with the host was easy and they were very helpful.

A great location to easily access everything in Florence, a short walk from the train station.
Michelangelo is a great host, received us on arrival, and we are glad to have chose his apartment.

  This place is in about the epicenter of Florence. Mere minutes from the Doumo, Piazza Della Republica, Piazza Signoria, and the Ponte Vecchio. Can't get much better.

The apartment is in a busy location and a bit noisy outside BUT the soundproof windows made it so we could comfortably sleep at night, they made a huge difference. We could hear the music and people with the windows open but once we closed them it was like turning off the radio. Quite nice!
