  Perfect location to see everything in Florence. Spacious and spare with 2 1/2 bathrooms and a washer/dryer that were very useful. Michelangelo was very responsive to any... read more issues we had (lost hot water one morning and his gracious father and a workman showed up that afternoon to fix the problem.) The area is a bit noisy but the double paned windows and shutters block out most of the noise at night. Be aware that though there is a lift to the apartment, you will still need to walk up 20+ steps to get to it. We would definitely stay there again.

  Excellent location on very busy street in heart of Florence. Easy to walk to major tourist sights, shops and restaurants. Nightly musical performances in market area across street... read more were delightful. Windows shut out the street sound very well. Kitchen not equipped for preparing full meals, adequate for breakfast and snacks.
The apartment was clean and comfortable. Instructions for entering apartment were texted to us the day of arrival and Michelangelo met us at apartment to orient us. (Hint for travelers from USA, bring shampoo, bath soap and washcloth.)

Every night... read more we woken up by loud yelling at 2-3am from people on the streets. The market starts set up at 6-7am. If you are a light sleeper this is not the place for you!

Kitchen has the basics but no wine bottle opener which seemed very odd for Italy.

Bedroom with bathroom has very comfortable bed while front bedroom has an old wore down futon like bed that is very hard and needs to be updated.

Also, one of the bedroom minisplits did not work - since we visited in April, it was neither hot or cold, so it was manageable, but slightly inconvenient.

  Centrally located, very convenient location. Spacious apartment with many rooms. Really enjoyed the street performers singing opera in the evenings.
