The area is a bit noisy but the double paned windows and shutters block out most of the noise at night. Be aware that though there is a lift to the apartment, you will still need to walk up 20+ steps to get to it. We would definitely stay there again.

Would definitely recommend the apartment for future renters looking for a central location to stay.

The host, Michalengelo, was terrific and very helpful. The apartment has two bedrooms (one room with a queen bed, the other with two twin beds. Separate living room can also sleep 1-2 on sofa. Three bathrooms, two with showers. Fourth floor (top floor) but the building has an elevator once you climb one flight of stairs from the street. My only minor concerns were that the water pressure was adequate, but not strong, and the wifi worked but was a little spotty sometimes.

Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment for a visit to Florence.

The second bedroom had two twin beds and just next to it, a full size bathroom. There was an extra toilet just across from the living area. The kitchen is usable if you want to make food and store items. But we ate out almost always. There’s also a washer and dryer which we ended up needed. Even though it’s a busy street , when the windows are completely closed, you hardly hear a thing. We are very light sleepers and it fit us perfectly.

  I'm picky about cleanliness in the bathrooms. This place was the cleanest airbnb I've been to. the effort they put into keeping it clean makes this place that much more... read more comfortable. The apartment is in a busy location and a bit noisy outside BUT the soundproof windows made it so we could comfortably sleep at night, they made a huge difference. We could hear the music and people with the windows open but once we closed them it was like turning off the radio. Quite nice!
