It is right in the heart of everything and yes, there is street noise - but also music and just great sounds of the city. The windows, when closed are virtually soundproof! Practically, it was beyond expectations, with two huge bedrooms, great living and closet space, good lighting, a full size washer AND dryer, a nice kitchen (although we did not eat in) and very comfortable beds and linens. The bathrooms were great - master bath with two sinks and lots of space, plus a second bath with shower and yet a third half bath! So charming. Michelangelo met us and was helpful with our specific questions. I had noted previous reviews that mentioned there is no soap, shampoo etc for guests, which was fine with us and I believe part of the guidelines for hosts. But other apartments do provide these so please keep in mind if you are lucky enough to book. (There is a Pharmacie next door should you require any special items).   Very central location but with this comes a lot of noise at night which disturbed sleep. We visited in November which meant there was no option of using AC so... read more we had to choose between the window open to cool bedrooms and face hours of noise or sleep very warm.
Spacious and clean with plenty of hot water and great facilities with washing machine and dryer.
Would have been a nice touch to have had bottled water, a coffee pod or two and some shower gel to have when arriving. An extra towel or so would also have been helpful.

Also, one of the bedroom minisplits did not work - since we visited in April, it was neither hot or cold, so it was manageable, but slightly inconvenient.

  A perfect location for our 3 days/2 nights in Florence. Easy walk to all our planned and unplanned excursions. Lots of space to relax. Highly recommended.
